We age this soap for a full six months. The result is a mild, solid bar that lasts and does not melt quickly.

❖ About Japanese Rice Bran
Rice bran is a cornerstone of Japanese skincare. It is the only known source of an antioxidant called Gamma-oryzanol, which reduces skin's melanin levels and regulates its sebum production, thus preventing dry skin and irritations.
It is also notable for its high content of Tocotrienol, the so-called "super" vitamin E, as well as an array of vitamins including B1 (Thiamin) and B3 (Niacin).
The plant squalene in rice bran is a natural lubricant which also forms a protective barrier to slow skin's moisture loss.
